Results of Mid West Netball Association matches played at Wirrulla and Poochera.

Wirrulla v Wudinna United

A Grade: Wirrulla lost to Wudinna United 32-48

The game started at a fast pace, there were quick passes down the court with the score at quarater time being Wirrulla 8 Wudinna United 11. Play see-sawed from end to end with both teams having forced errors in their goal ends. Wudinna United settled picking up a few turnovers while Wirrulla trailed behind.

Both teams started with changes to mid court. Wirrulla defences put strong pressure on Wudinna United goalies, but accurate shooting from Wudinna helped them sustain their lead.

Play was well contested by both teams throughout the court. Wirulla kept the pressure on their opponents, but it was Wudinna United who held on to win by 17 goals.

Incentive award: Ike Whelan.

B Grade: Wirrulla lost to Wudinna United 19-43

Incentive award: Jessica Truman.

C Grade: Wirrulla defeated Wudinna United 22-14

Incentive award: Julie Lawrie.

D Grade: Wirrulla defeated Wudinna United 23-39

Incentive award: Kylie Smith.

13 and Under: Wirrulla defeated Wudinna United 26-25

Incentive: Emily Kelsh.

Western Districts v Central Eyre

A Grade: Western Districts defeated Central Eyre 44-33

B Grade: Western Districts lost to Central Eyre 29-52

C Grade: Western Districts lost to Central Eyre 18-53.

D Grade: Western Districts lost to Central Eyre 18-38.

15 and Under: Western Districts lost to Central Eyre 25-40

13 and Under: Western Districts defeated Central Eyre 59-3.

West Coast Hawks v Elliston

A Grade: Elliston defeated West Coast Hawks 53-21

First quarter - Elliston off to a good start with WC Hawks strongly following behind.

Second Quarter - Elliston again proved too strong with WC Hawks defending hard but unable to follow through with goals.

Third Quarter - Once again Elliston too strong with WC Hawks unable to close the gap.

Fourth Quarter - Rain in this quarter made it hard for both teams to settle with Elliston winning the game.

B Grade: Elliston defeated West Coast Hawks 38-18

First Quarter - Consistent play by both sides under wet and blustery conditions.

Second Quarter - Started off evenly with good play by Elliston who then took the lead and held onto the lead for the quarter.

Third Quarter - Good defence work by Elliston, accurate passes and team work to maintain their lead with hawks struggling.

Fourth Quarter - Accurate shooting kept Elliston in front with the Hawks struggling to keep up as shown by the score with Elliston going on to win comfortably.

C Grade: Elliston defeated West Coast Hawks 38-33

First Quarter - Unsettled play by both sides as the weather sets in, even scores at the end of the quarter.

Second Quarter - Elliston out to an early lead, WC Hawks work hard to be behind by one goal at half time.

Third Quarter - Elliston snuck ahead by three goals.

Fourth Quarter - WC Hawks close the margin early but Elliston's strength in the goals shines through to be winners at full time.

D Grade: West Coast Hawks defeated Elliston 79-13

Under 13's: Forfeit by Elliston.

Scratch match was held West Coast Hawks 37 to Elliston 7
