Table tennis back for ninth birthday

17/07/2008 4:00:00 AM
Celebrating the ninth anniversary of the Ceduna Uniting Church Table Tennis Club, the Annual Handicap Tournament now has been set for Tuesday, August 5 at the Uniting Church hall.

The tournament is an open competition, and those interested are welcome to participate and enjoy a great night of table tennis.

There will be trophies presented to the lucky winners.

Over the years people from all around Ceduna have enjoyed many Tuesday evenings playing social table tennis.

Organisers would like to be contacted by Monday evening, August 4 so the handicap chart can be prepared in readiness for a 7pm start on Tuesday evening.

Contact Jill Stockham on 8625 2670 or Colin Peacock on 8625 3505.

Entry fee is $3 and bats are available.

Ceduna players are looking forward to travelling to Minnipa for the annual friendly challenge with the Minnipa Table Tennis Club on Tuesday, July 29.
